(1) For the renewal of the surveyor's license within the period specified in sub-section (1) of Section 31 of the Act, the renewal fee is twelve thousand rupees in case of "A" class license, nine thousand rupees in case of "B" class license and seven thousand rupees in case of "C" class license. And in the case of "D" category license, an application should be submitted to the committee's office in the format as per Schedule-15, with an attachment of five thousand rupees. If such an application is received, the committee will have to renew the license of such surveyor.
(2) If a surveyor fails to submit an application for the renewal of his license within the period specified in sub-rule (1), if he submits an application to the office of the opening committee, if the reason is found to be reasonable, the committee shall pay five hundred rupees per day for the first two months of the expiry of the renewal period and fifty rupees per day for the next four months. Such license can be renewed by taking the fee.
